Diaper overalls

I don’t care who you are.. these are adorable. I have seen even the most serious man, smile at the sight of these little diaper covers. Made to be worn as a baby overall… much cuter than a pamper ..even if Elmo is  on it!

It happens quicker than we care to think and then these little garments are keep sakes in a trunk and our little boys are wearing size 38X30 insulated overalls and are driving tractors. Maybe someday the little cover will come back out of the trunk and be worn by his son!

Bib girl has a birthday

This birthday was all about comfort! My kids cooked my favorite breakfast…with bacon done just right! and lots of jelly on my crispy English muffin. Funny that for this day I pick one of my favorite pictures, happy and comfy in my denim overalls .

The years roll by and more and more we are becoming who we are whether we like it or not. Set in our ways, with our opinions and attitudes.  Likes and dislikes with less and less tolerance for those who seek to make us what they think we should be. Our best friends are those who know us, like us and accept us for who we are… warts and all!!

Bib Girl is 44 and happy to be right where she is… in God’s care.

Rosie knows

I want to be more like Rosie the Riveter. A strong woman, who knows the importance of getting the job done, not afraid of getting dirty to do it or what people will think and at the end of the day… she is still “A Lady” !!!!  I bet she looks great in a little black dress too. Toned arms from working not working out in a gym!

The Rosie’s I know are my best friends. We are country girls and we own more boots than we do heels!!  We have little black dresses and we have insulated bib overalls we are versatile!

Rosie knows… and I do too! Be your self, work hard, play hard and go to sleep with a content smile on your face!

New decade, same old style

2011 has begun and although the year will bring new technology and innovations to the table, some things will remain virtually unchanged. The men’s denim bib overalls always have been and i am willing to bet,  always will be, a steadfast item in a workers wardrobe.  I have three pairs. One nice pair for working my shop, one old pair for cutting grass and one pair cut off to shorty bibs for hot weather and fishing.  Good ideas never go outta style. Some  would say that only down to earth ” real folks” are bib wearers. I would say… Wouldn’t it be a boring world if we were all the same? I am comfortable, don’t try to change me.

Meet the demands head on

men’s insulated bib overalls are a necessity when you work in these conditions. Hitting the ground running and ready for anything can only mean a good day at work. Bib overalls also give you the ability to layer up or shed  top layers when the temperature fluctuates. Staying comfortable when you begin physical work is greatly dependant on your temperature. We all know that being too warm is very tiring also.

Dress for a successful day at work.

Now here is something fun to think about concerning your appearance… These days on the job you have to wear hi visibility reflective clothing and it is so bright you would swear it is plugged in. Carhartt  has gear for you. The weekend comes and you are heading to the woods to hunt and you want to disappear, your choice  will be camouflaged clothing and again Carhartt has you covered with their camo insulated bibs

So whether you need to be seen or want to blend Carhartt has it. Stand Out or Blend in.

When in the market for bib overalls, several variable will affect choice of style.

Time of year is the first, Carhartt bib overalls insulated are needed in cold weather and unlined for summer. The choice of fabric will play a roll as well. Denim is light and cool, duck is tough and durable, sandstone is durable and soft.  Lastyly options of double knee, leg zippers, will help make your bib overall just what you need.

Of all the items I could buy and sell, one category is a must in this girls retail shop. Yep, you guessed it, lined overalls . You can’t beat them. comfort and warmth and durable, all in one garment.

Carhartt has been pleasing customers for over  122 years and they are going strong still. Always adding new accessories to make it fun and keeping the key items, the “old stand bys” ready and waiting.

Ageless Wisdom

Isn’t it funny how you always thought there was no one smarter than grand-pap? The older I get the more I realize he only got that way by making all of his own mistakes while he becoming the old wise sage I knew him to be! He was me once, a young ambitious, wet behind the ears twenty something who had allot more energy than the older generation and thought that energy equalled experience and like every generation before me and every generation after me, the elders sit back and calmly watch the “young bucks” make all their own mistakes!! Sometimes that is the only way we can believe  is by our own trial and error!

One thing I don’t doubt is the  wise investment of quality made clothing. Carhartt unlined bib overalls will hold up to any “young buck” filled with energy.
